When considering where to purchase your eyeglasses, sunwear, and contact lenses, here are a couple of things we’d ask you to keep in mind…
Total Eye Health
It’s important to us that you have sharp vision and excellent comfort with your glasses and contact lenses. We take pride in standing behind our products with unique warranties. Our professional and well-educated team are here to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Different prescriptions require certain frame styles and lens treatments to perform as they should. Our dispensary has hundreds of frames from which to choose, including several unique frame lines that won’t you find everywhere. We have a wide selection of styles, sizes, and colors of frames, making it easy to find something for everyone in the family. Lenses & Coating
Contacts & Solutions
Contact lenses are a convenient and popular choice for many who need vision correction. Many patients choose to wear contacts on a daily basis, while others opt to use them for special activities or events. Recent improvements in contact lens technology have made it possible for more patients to comfortably wear contacts than ever before. Our doctors are happy to discuss your options during your exam.
Sports & Sunwear
If you play sports, a pair of sports glasses are a wise investment.
Glasses designed specifically for use while playing sports can prevent a number of eye injuries, such as abrasions, fractured bones, and retinal detachments. Because we believe it’s so important to wear protective glasses for sports, we offer package pricing on this eyewear to help make it more affordable. These packages include polycarbonate lenses, which are the most impact resistant lenses on the market today. In most cases, the lenses also have an anti-fog treatment. Depending on the sport being played, we may also suggest lenses that darken outdoors. Our staff is trained to recommend the best lens color for your needs.
To reduce exposure to UV rays and their effects, we recommend you invest in a set of sunglasses which can provide at least 98% protection from UVA and UVB rays. While cheaper sunglasses can range from poor to excellent UV protection, our sunwear lines provide the best protection from the sun. We carry a large selection of styles and colors.
Another product to consider is a pair of polarized sunglasses. Polarized lenses block light reflected from surfaces such as a flat road or smooth water. If you are involved in activities such as water sports, skiing, golfing, biking, fishing, and even driving, polarized lenses can be very helpful in reducing glare and giving a clearer view.
Finally, if you have a youngster in the family, it is never too early to fit them with sunglasses. Children under the age of 20 are the most susceptible to the damaging effects of UV light. One concern of parents is that their child will scratch, break, or lose the sunglasses; we are here to help you make the best choice for your child.
