Zionsville Eyecare Family and Friends

Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe. In light of that, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have recently recommended all routine eye care be deferred in order to slow the transmission of COVID-19 throughout communities nationwide.

We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves but for now have decided to suspend routine exams. Our extended business hours are being condensed but plan to return to normal business hours in 2 weeks on April 4th. As of today we are not planning to close our doors completely. Our professional schedule will remain available for urgent and essential visits only with additional safety protocols put in place.

  • Routine Eye Health Exams: If you are scheduled for a routine eye examination appointment for the remainder of March we will reschedule your appointment. As of March 18, 2020, we will begin rescheduling routine eye examination appointments for April 6th, 2020 and later.
  • My Glasses Just Broke. What do I do? Please contact us at 317-873-3000 or info@zeyecare.com. We are here for you by appointment.
  • I'm nearly out of contact lenses. What do I do? Our website offers online contact lens ordering or you may call our office at 317-873-3000 to place your order. We will extend your prescription during this time. We are currently offering direct shipping for free with a minimum order of 2 boxes.
  • I need a refill on medication prescribed to me by the practice. What do I do? We are still here for you. Please contact us at 317-873-3000.
    We can transmit a refill for your prescription directly to your pharmacy so that you have the medication that you need.
  • I am in pain or have lost vision. What can I do? Do not immediately go to the Emergency Room. Contact us at 317-873-3000 and we will evaluate your needs.
  • I ordered glasses/contacts and want to pick them up. We are available to dispense your glasses and contact lenses by appointment. You may schedule online or via phone.

We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in following the CDC’s guidance. If you have an appointment scheduled with us this week, our office will be in touch to help reschedule your appointment.

We did not make this decision lightly. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision.
