• We recommend an annual comprehensive eye exam that not only checks your vision but also examines your overall eye health. A comprehensive eye exam can reveal “silent” eye diseases or issues that may not be found through a vision screening.

  • We provide comprehensive eye examinations starting from infancy. By the time a child begins school, including preschool, they should have an eye exam. This is crucial because 80% of a child's learning is visual, and any issues can impact their ability to learn effectively.

  • If there is a family history of vision issues such as amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed eyes), or other concerns, our doctors provide examinations for people of all ages.

For infants ages 6 months until their first birthday, most of our doctors participate in the InfantSee program, which provides free eye exams. This is sponsored by the American Optometry Association Foundation.

  • While the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulates contact lens as medical devices, the length of a contact lens prescription is determined by state laws. In Indiana, a contact lens prescription is valid for one year. If the prescription expires, you must get an eye exam with a contact lens evaluation to update the prescription.

  • Contact lenses sit directly on the eye, so the prescription often differs from your eyeglass prescription. Doctors consider various factors, including your lifestyle, to determine the best contact lenses for you. This evaluation is different from the one for your eyeglasses but can often be done during the same appointment.

  • If you're considering contact lenses for your child, consult our doctors to assess their ability to manage responsibilities. If your child exhibits maturity in self-care and is willing to handle contact lenses carefully, they may be ready to explore this option. If you’re interested in contact lenses for your child, contact us for a consultation.

    • Our doctors guarantee the prescription.
